After you install the Menufy Clover app and complete the registration, please turn on online ordering by following the steps below. This can done on your Clover POS device or on the Menufy Manager website.
Required Steps
- Verify Hours and Address
- The site will not accept orders until the hours and address are set. You can update them in your Clover POS.
- Turn on Carryout/Delivery
- Navigate to the Carryout Settings tab and turn it on. Do the same for Delivery Settings if necessary.
- Link your new website
- If you have a separate main restaurant website, ask your web designer to add an "Order Online" that links to your new online ordering website above. Without it, customers will not know that you have online ordering. If you need help with adding it, or want us to contact your designer please let us know!
Highly Recommended Steps
- Review Online Menu
- Items. Menufy loads all items from your Clover POS. If you don't want to show some of them, you can disable them on the Menu tab.
- Modifiers. Update modifier group’s Min and Max settings. For example, "Add Soup" modifier should allow one soup selected or no soup. "Add Veggies" may allow up to 3 out of 8 available. You can update them on the Menu tab or in the Clover POS.
- Lunch and Dinner specials. In the top right corner of each category, there is a Clock icon. When you click on that, you can set specific hours of availability for those categories.
- Add Pictures to Items and Categories
- Pictures and descriptions for categories and items significantly increase the number of orders. You can add them on the Menu tab.
- Specify Delivery Zones
- If you offer delivery you can customize your delivery zones by drawing them on a map or creating a delivery radius. Each zone can be priced to your choosing. See Delivery Settings.
- Set Cash Orders Limit
- By default the website allows cash orders up to $150 to minimize the risk of a no-show. To pay for bigger orders customers are required to use a credit card. You can change it on the "Carryout Settings" and "Delivery Settings" tabs.
- Set Clover Order Type
- Online orders may have a unique order type to simplify your accounting.
- Go to the "Carryout Settings" and "Delivery Settings" tabs in the Menufy Manager and set Clover Order Type field to "Online Carryout" and "Online Delivery".
- If that is not in your drop-down list, go to your Clover POS, select "Setup", and then select "Order Types". Click "Add New Order Type" and then in the "Name section" type in "Online Carryout". Repeat for "Online Delivery" if applicable. Click "Save" after you've named it correctly. Go back to the Menufy Manager and update Clover Order Type.
