Android requires all apps downloaded outside of the Google Play store to go through a Security Check. While trying to update the Menufy Restaurant Console app, if you get a message saying "Install Blocked" or "not allowed to install unknown apps", do not be concerned, we will help walk you through the process below.
- Tap the button labeled "Settings". (See screenshots below)
- On the next screen, Tap the "on/off switch" labeled either "Unknown Sources" or "Allow from this source".
- You may see another message stating your data is vulnerable. Again, do not be concerned, this process is safe and you may continue.
- If the "on/off switch" is now in the ON position, press the BACK button near the bottom of the screen repeatedly until you are back at the "Install Menufy Restaurant Console" screen.
- If you are not returned to this screen, please follow these step to being the update again.
- Open the Menufy Restaurant Console app.
- Tap the "Cog" settings icon in the top right of the screen.
- Tap the button labeled "Advanced" in the top right of the screen.
- Tap the button labeled "Force App Update", and follow the dialogs to continue.
- If you are not returned to this screen, please follow these step to being the update again.
